Our Approach
Emergent Games is a leading metaverse and blockchain games studio that brings together industry veterans from PlayStation, Activision and NCsoft, with blockchain technologists from Pluto Labs. Jargon-free, pick up and play, with true AAA production values, our games will offer the option to play just for fun, or allow players engage with the NFT element and earn real money.
With an experienced team of over 40 people, we have developed and published numerous titles and we understand what it takes to make great games. We intend to be a leading force for good in Web3 gaming
Our Games
Our first project is Resurgence, a free to play, massively multiplayer role playing game that will take players on a journey from present day disaster to a post-apocalyptic future. The game gives complete control to the player to craft their own destiny by utilising resources in a unique community-based survival concept.

Director Pluto & Metaverse
Co-founder of Pluto Digital. Co-founder of VC fund focused on Metaverse, AI, IOT & Gaming and founder of a venture debt fund focused on funding growth companies globally. Co- founder of mobile technology company acquired by RedHat in 2014. Computer science and product management background in global tech companies.
Russ Harding
Chief Creative Officer
Formerly Creative Director/Executive Producer at Sony’s London Studio, where he directed Sony’s critically acclaimed ventures into the world of Virtual Reality on PlayStation. Notable games include Ocean Descent, and the bestseller – The London Heist.
John Frizelle
CTO
Over 20 years experience delivering complicated technology and engineering projects for Pluto Digital, Red Hat, Elavon and AIB. John is a Blockchain and Defi specialist.
Blake Finucane
Head of NFT Investments
Blake was the first person to publish an academic thesis on crypto art in 2018 and has been deeply immersed in the space since 2016. She has been featured in top cryptocurrency publications like Cointelegraph and in world-renowned academic journals including Leonardo.

A veteran games artist and director, recently very proud to receive an Honorary Degree of Doctor of the University of Essex, also a Creative England Top 10 future leader, BAFTA nominated and Innovation 50 with 30 years industry experience.
